
Child Find Activities

Public schools and the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) are responsible for locating, identifying and evaluating all children with disabilities, ages birth through 21 years old.

North Star Charter School - (Arizona Preparatory Academy) is responsible for referring children to their local school district who are between the ages of two years nine months up to five years, who may require special education programming.

North Star Charter School - (Arizona Preparatory Academy) is also responsible to ensure that children in the age group from birth to two years nine months, who have developmental delays, are located, identified and evaluated. North Star Charter School - (Arizona Preparatory Academy) will serve as a referral agent to AzEIP (Arizona Early Intervention Program) and ensure that each child referred to AzEIP through North Star Charter School - (Arizona Preparatory Academy) is screened within forty five calendar days of the date the school received official notification of the parent/guardian’s concern. All such referrals to AzEIP will be made through the North Star Charter School - (Arizona Preparatory Academy) office.
